Weekend Special: Fundamentally Altered

When a true dyed in the wool Taoist talks about having fun, which they would do with great gusto, as having fun, enjoying being here, is considered paramount, they are not talking about superficial fun, or at least this follower of the Tao wouldn’t be, as that sort of frivolity wears thin quickly, generally failing to satisfy, especially when mostly informed by self-centredness – they’d more likely be talking about the deep existential fun of watching life unfold like a movie or TV programme, along with the innate sense of fun gained at those rare moments of being spontaneously attuned to the spin and orbital thrust of the planet – the nuts and bolts of what’s actually going on here, in other words.
