If you flow with the Tao innate in all situations as well as within you at all times this week and if you adhere to that as the central thrust of your moment-to moment experience as you go about your business, you will meet with unprecedented success.

Many people, perhaps the majority are infected with a virus – the virus of worrying. It’s nothing new and indeed has been going on at least as long as we first started actively growing crops and subsisting from agriculture, depending on such variables as weather and so on.
When those around you seem to be experiencing a hard time and it’s making them feel glum, there’s a mistaken tendency to feel obliged to join them, as if revealing you’re feeling fine, would be like rubbing salt in the wound. However, this won’t help them out of their glumness. All it will do is make you glum too.
Others are helped out of their glumness when you provide an example of joyfulness and cheerfulness for them to feel inspired by. Of course be subtle about it – don’t make a loud noise of your cheerfulness, simply allow joyfulness and cheerfulness to inform your thoughts, words and deeds at a deep level and others will instantly pick up on at a deep level. Their conscious minds may not actively notice what’s happening and may continue a while longer in a glum state but by and by their internal joy will grow till it bursts through to the surface again.
It’s not that you’re required to use your innate joy in the miracle of existence and your presence in it as a tool to alleviate the glumness of others, but that you don’t mistakenly believe you’re obliged to relinquish your joy when around those feeling less joyful than you. For you it’s simply about discreetly remaining at one with the joy informing you and the fortunate by-product of that is the way it subtly, yet effectively inspires the joy of those around you, thus helping alleviate suffering wherever you go.
So you could say it was your duty as a responsible member of the global family, to access and express your innate joy from moment to moment.
And the key to this ability lies in lightening up and softening your heart area this merry Monday, as according to the ancient and very wise Taoists, joy is a natural result of healthily flowing heart energy.
So saying, make fists and gently, rhythmically pound your chest like Tarzan while chanting the sound, HAAAAAAAHHHHH for the duration of six exhalations, then stop suddenly and within seconds you’ll feel a delightful sense of warm, fluid energy spreading throughout your chest as an increased flow of heart energy is activated.
May your joy know no bounds today.
Primarily, the key to success lies in relaxing and allowing yourself to enjoy the ride at the deepest level. The more you enjoy being who, where and what you are, the more wholesome and in accord with the Great Way will be your step-by-step decisions.
Everything in existence is governed by the intrinsic dynamic between the yin and yang, the contractive and expansive forces respectively, hence why a moment of tension is followed by a moment of release and vice versa, or a difficult phase is followed by one of ease and so on. So there’s no wisdom in attaching yourself to or identifying with any erroneous notions that life is meant to be easy all the time, nor to any that life must always be difficult. It will inevitably swing both ways in a constant cycle of contraction and expansion. You have to be awake to the phase you’re in but not identify with it. And you can choose whether experiencing the swing is going to be a fun ride or not. Either way you’re going to have to go on the ride. So you choose whether you’re going to let go, relax and enjoy swinging back and forth between difficult phases and easy ones, or whether you’re going to tense up, resist and not enjoy it. You choose whether the whole thing is going to be fun or not.
I’m not inferring the drunken tee-hee-hee, tra-la-la sort of fun that requires going into denial about what’s going on, though of course that occasionally certainly has its place in the existential repertoire but the deeper existential fun of being awake to the thrill of the ride, both its tense bits and its relaxed bits, in the same way a fearless child might embrace a ride on the big dipper.
Merely from an experimenting with existence standpoint, try positioning yourself as the innocent playful child in the adventure playground of life and relaxing your belly enough to allow the difficult experiences and the easy to pass through with equal fluidity, your only preference being whether you prefer to have fun accommodating the passage or not.
And if it’s the former, simply loosen up now, drop your shoulders, drop your veneer of adulthood, soften your belly and feel the thrill of the ride come what may today, tonight and right through the weekend.
Tell yourself with utmost conviction and sincerity of heart, “This is my life and my choice is to have fun with it now, come what may – no matter how challenging, no matter how rewarding, no matter how scared I get, no matter how confident, my choice is to enjoy it, because it’s my life and as far as I can currently verify, any past-life memories notwithstanding, it’s the only life I’ve got and I’m no longer willing to waste even another nanosecond of it tensing up, resisting it and being glum.”
Naturally it helps if you’ve got the material aspects in good working order, so if you’re interested in how to manifest a sudden up-thrust in the level of incoming wealth, have a look at the weekend edition of the Members’ Wisdom Drop, where all will be revealed.
May you feel the deep, unassailable existential thrill of the ride come what may today, tonight and right through the weekend in a deeper more unassailable way than you’ve ever felt it before now.
Oftentimes when you feel your life is stuck you assume you have to do something huge to set it moving again, when in fact it’s generally only a slight nudge that’s required and one of the best ways to effect such a nudge, if nudge is really the right word for it, is to
I know there are times you feel as if your progress is blocked – as if your life has got all stuck and that the tendency at such times is to try and manoeuvre things into a different configuration. However that’s not necessarily the optimal approach to getting things moving.
Instead you could try the Taoist wu wei (effortless manifesting system) approach, which rests upon the premise that you create reality the way it turns out by the choices you make, either consciously or unconsciously and that you can create it any way you choose, including it presently consisting of an apparent blockage in affairs but if you like, also with an actual huge transition occurring invisibly behind the scenes today on your behalf, courtesy of the Tao of your life, which is even now causing things to shift to produce precisely the result you’re after in terms of having a life of abundant health, wealth, love, joy, satisfaction and everything else you want.
To initiate this now, assuming you unraveled the preceding convoluted sentence and should you be of a mind to, simply gather yourself into a unified force and tell yourself with full sincerity of heart, ‘Even though I’m currently feeling as if my life is blocked, the process of me manifesting everything I want is happening at optimal levels now anyway.’
Then exhale deeply with a relaxing sigh and let go into trusting the possibility that this is now so. For as you trust it, so it will be.
May you experience unexpected, unprecedented shifts for the better today as a result.
Looking about you now it would seem you have a choice to make: to worry about the day and your life in general and allow the contraction that causes to constrict your energy and stunt what you can achieve, or to step into the rest of the day and of course, the rest of your life as a warrior.
Worrier or warrior.
If choosing the latter, which is the option I’d encourage you to go for, it’s down to choosing that rather than allowing yourself to succumb to being perturbed by everything, you instead greet everything that occurs now, whether that’s shifts in the external play or shifts of feeling or view, with absolute delight, including even being delighted about feeling afraid (there’s nothing wrong with feeling afraid as long as you breathe with it and allow it to pass through you on an energetic level without holding on to it) – to be delighted about all of it, because you’re alive and everything that’s happening comprises an aspect of the miracle of your existence, even the difficult passages.
Confirm this choice by declaiming to yourself and the Tao of your life, ‘I choose to meet life today as a warrior and be delighted not perturbed, whether by events, feelings, or thoughts.’
This will place you in a position of personal power and antidote any tendencies to mistakenly regard yourself as a victim of circumstances.
May you feel unbridled personal power now to achieve everything you want.
