Stand comfortably, feet close together, posture optimally aligned and adjusted for maximum height and breadth, muscles and sinews relaxed and softened, breathing slow and low down in the belly, heart open and mind retracted into the midbrain.

Everyone on this planet is walking around in a state of existential turmoil. Most don’t admit to it, even (and especially) to themselves, of course as that might be misinterpreted as a sign of weakness: everyone, or most of us, are doing a great job of acting as we all have it totally sorted and together.
In fact having it all totally sorted and together is ever only a momentary phenomenon. This must be so as we inhabit and operate by the rules of a universe comprised entirely of moving parts, hence everything and every part of everything, from the deepest level to the most superficial, is always in motion and flux, meaning moments of equilibrium are necessarily rare and certainly never the constant. So be assured everyone is in existential turmoil.
So when your well-built defences break down for whatever combination of reasons and you’re left staring your turmoil in the face, don’t for a second feel like a freak of nature, a loser or in any way substandard. Existential turmoil is intrinsic to the human condition, to the universal condition in fact.
And don’t waste a second trying to resolve it. Even resolution is merely momentary. And things resolve themselves in the fullness of time anyway.
Instead, look to accommodating the inevitable inner swirl comfortably, by breathing slowly, relaxing the muscles, adjusting the posture for maximum height and breadth, drawing the mind back into the midbrain, softening the heart centre and surrendering to being where and how you are now, you develop congruence with what is.
Congruent with what is, the flow lifts you up and carries you to fresher, greener pastures in which managing the inner turmoil will be even easier.
I wish you smooth transit.

At some level, everyone feels a deep sense of existential loneliness that no amount of social interaction, or even up-close loving, can assuage. This occurs through a disconnect at the soul level, specifically in respect of your relationship with what came before and with what comes after, and even more specifically, with your ancestors and your angel of destiny, respectively.
Oh, the things we resist that make life easier for us. Or is it wrong of me to assume? Maybe it’s just me. Something as simple, say, as shifting the way you breathe can make your whole life a lot easier.
For instance, try slowing your breathing rate right down to halftime now.
Doing so, your mind will slow down in proportion, affording you more calm and clarity in the mind. If the mind is like a lake, the turbulence of rushed thinking makes your whole experience choppy and opaque. Slow the breath down, the lake becomes still, the water more clear and you can see more easily to the bottom of things.
My wish for you today is that you get the same feeling of utmost joy for finding something so simple that can and will have such a profoundly beneficent effect on your life.
For another incredibly simple yet radical technique, this one to instantly put you in the flow of the deepest stream of personal power available, see the Members Wisdom Drop, for which you'll need to be or become a member and it's worth it.
Have you ever stopped to think how incredibly hard your brain works, constantly adjusting the flow of life force and fluids and managing the unfathomably complex interlinking systems of the body, not to mention constantly processing an inordinate number of thought signals as it does, in order to keep you flying?
Reality as you know it is merely one version, a version predicated entirely on your belief system. It is therefore entirely up for grabs and can be morphed by adjusting your beliefs.
You’ve no doubt been raised with the belief that to produce results you have to exert enormous effort and be willing to sacrifice even your joy in the process, and even though your rational mind may heartily disagree, the unconscious belief will still be driving your version of reality and hence how reality shows up for you.
But by changing the belief, you can change the result,
For instance, tell yourself the following six times with utmost sincerity and feeling, the fullness of your person brought to bear on saying it, feeling it and meaning it, even though your rational mind can make no sense of it:
I reduce the amount of effort I put in by 50%, reduce the amount of pointless output by 50%, increase quality of output by 50% and increase personal gain to the benefit of everyone around me by 100%.
Then forget all about it, but repeat it daily for the next three days and your whole life will start morphing of itself to produce that sort of result. Obviously the percentages used are merely arbitrary and impossible to measure accurately in any case, but the mind works in symbols and by and by starts adjusting its beliefs accordingly, thus producing a shift of external conditions by extension.

Merry Monday. Do miracles.
Surrender to the innate joy of being alive. Do nothing to block it with the habitual killjoy thoughts of your rational mind. Override all the rational reasons why you shouldn’t or can’t be allowed to enjoy yourself now. Revert to your natural state – be yourself rather than who you vainly think you should be and you will spontaneously be in a state of joy. Joyful is the natural state.
In this state of enjoying whatever happens or doesn’t happen, of receiving all incoming information of every kind as merely an expression of the Tao’s absolute joy, persist in the projects you’ve been working on and you will experience many significant instances of success this week and beyond.
By setting to every task in this joyous manner, revelling in the miracle of being alive, thus no longer to succumbing to the trance of the humdrum, you will inspire those around you, thus increasing the potential for inbound opportunities, hence the promised success.
Being truly joyful and fully engaged in the task at hand, even the fear of death is overcome, how more so, your trivial concerns of the everyday state.
Spend time practicing such disciplines as tai chi, sacred dance, meditation and other connected activities in the company of loved ones, friends and colleagues to generate synergy required for success.
But above all remain joyful and the world will respond to your joy by showering you with success.
So be it.
With love, Barefoot
Sunday 27th April 2014
While you no doubt have a cherished list of goals and desires to be fulfilled, the manifesting of which, potentially comprises countless steps along the way, rather than become disheartened or impatient on account of the long road you see up ahead, allow yourself to revel in the joy of taking one small step at a time.
Back in 1980 when the then USSR and the USA were at loggerheads and threatening mutually assured destruction by atomic bomb, I was having dinner up near Oraibi in northern Arizona round at Thomas Benyaka’s house one night, as you do. At the time he was the official keeper of the fabled and ancient Hopi prophesy. As the prophesy has it that the world as we know and love it will be destroyed by atomic bombs, we fell into discussing how best to deal with such an eventuality. He explained the only course of action for people of power (in the personal, magical sense), was to ‘illusion’ the problem away by literally seeing the world differently with enough psychic force to cause the actual conditions to shift. The Hopi method for doing this consists in praying but not praying as we know it in the West – not following any prescribed format or liturgy but rather talking on the level as a friend to the Creator, the Great Spirit – what we might call the Tao – and asking for what you want. However in the Hopi way of doing this, the supplicant rarely prays for personal gain of any kind. They pray for the collective good. In this instance, he explained we must pray for wisdom to prevail. We must see the warheads being dismantled and both sides being willing to live in peace with each other.
While I knew intellectually he had a point, the cynical aspect of my mind found it hard to conceive of how a few prayers issued from this wild desert landscape of the Colorado Plateau miles from anywhere could have an actual effect on people making decisions in Moscow and Washington.
As it happens, it appears that any doubt on my part was fortunately no match for his faith, as but a few weeks later, both sides voluntarily dismantled a whole raft of warheads and within nine years the USSR was no more anyway.
Hence why it’s important any time you catch yourself fretting over the human race’s prospects for survival for whatever reason, that you instead use that energy to visualise and ask the Tao for wisdom and enlightenment to prevail and for the effects of that to be peace, abundance and freedom for all.
Having done so, visualise and ask the Tao to manifest wisdom, enlightenment, peace, abundance and freedom in your own life today, tonight, through the weekend and thereafter.
The Tao will take care of all the details in both cases. It just needs to know the general outcome you desire, in order to give its manifesting process a spot of direction.
The more of us that attend to the global version of the vision, the more synergetic power will be generated to lend force to a spread of peacefulness and abundance.
On the other hand, the more energy you/we invest in fretting over potential disaster, the more your/our mind is creating that possibility for everyone.
May the Tao manifest an unprecedented exponential spread of wisdom, enlightenment, peace, abundance and freedom throughout the world and in yours specifically, now.
