Sustaining the innocence of the Fool, free of guile or contrivance, divested of the struggle to outguess and control the future, delighted merely to be confronted by the mystery of life, depends on keeping your breath flowing and being willing to pull yourself back out of your forebrain and eyeballs into the centre of your brain, while simultaneously allowing your chest to soften so love and grace can flow within and around you.
Archives for September 2013
This is in praise of the unexpected, in honour of the hallowed state of not-knowing, in celebration of the mystery. For though the general tendency is to drive yourself half-mad trying to guess what’s coming next, this precludes grace from the everyday equation and so is perhaps not the optimum existential strategy to adhere to.
Instead, by letting go of the need to know and surrendering more fully to the mystery, a state of grace descends on you as if from above, but actually from within, which makes your energy field sparkle and glow with such warming radiance that even gods and spirits are drawn to you bearing great gifts and opportunities, let alone mere mortals.
And this can only arise from stepping out of the arrogance that thinks it can foretell the future and thereby control it, into the body of the archetype of the Fool, as in one who is entirely innocent of guile and contrivance, who is happy simply to be in a state of amazement and wonder in the face of the mystery, the only question on your lips, ‘whatever next?’
Not whatever next from an anxious place but whatever next with excited, brave glee.
As soon as you divest yourself of the weight of trying to outguess and control the future, your entire being suddenly feels as light as a feather and your spirits soar above the petty concerns of the everyday struggle. Suddenly there is no struggle, just joy.
And to sustain it, all you need to do is keep breathing.
More about this in today’s Members' Wisdom Drop for which you'll need to be, or become a member, and it's worth it.
Meanwhile, may your Monday be merry with mystery.
To question magic is to question existence itself. This entire cosmos is but a vastly scaled magic trick being performed by the Great Conjurer, the Tao, and each of us is a holographic microcosmic image of the full-scale macrocosmic trick (of the light), hence we each are magic. Being magic we each have the power to influence the magic guiding the flow of events. Joining together from all round the world to effect a benign intervention exponentially increases the potency.
Segueing seamlessly from the past two Magic Satsang series, the proposition now is to deploy our power of combined intention to
instigate quantum surges in all relevant aspects of the existential relationship and so elicit an unprecedented effect of absolute joy and fulfillment for all participants and by extension for all the people all the participants know and beyond that, don't know, thereby eventually benignly touching all sentient beings with a view to instigtating a global miracle.
1 Magic Your Confidence Right Up
Confidence defiict is a trick you play on yourself, a ruse developed in younger years to allay the envy or mistruct of others by making yourself the goon, hence unthreatening. But as with all ruses it gradually works against the ruse-perpetrator, and in this session we'll be doing the trick to undo the trick and restore your system to factory settings, natural, innate confidence fully intact.
2 Magic Your Decision-Making Power Right Up
Destiny and we are beloved. We usually don't know this and so walk the path afraid of what's to come. Destiny, or Tao, only has the greatest possible good instilled in every move it makes, and by relaxing into tis knowledge you're able to discern rather than decide the path. This session will be directed to getting you to access the innate dexterity at discerning the path so you'll never have to stress your mind in vain trying to decide what's already been decided before time began.
3 Magic Your Self-Worth Right Up
Believing yourself to be anything less than the divine perfection of the primordial cause made manifest isjusta trick you play on
yourself, but one that has devastating consequences on your life and often the lives of those around you. Indeed it can be said that much of the trouble and strife on the planet derives from people suffering low-self-esteem compensating by acting out destructively to bolster themselves. This session will be to do the trick to undo the trick and restore your self-esteem program to original factory settings, leaving you with self-esteem levels only usually enjoyed by the Tao itself.
4 Magic Your Money-Flow Right Up
The experience of financial lack is at root a trick you play on yourself to make life more compressed hence intense. This session will unlock that trick and re-instigate the natural flow of wealth that is your birthright.
5 Magic Your Happiness Right Up
Happiness derives from the old English hap, meaning chance or fortune. IT shares the root with the word happen, implying that happiness is not primarily derived from what's going on or isn't going on externally (love affairs, partnershps, relationships, success, status etc), but from how you respond to what chance throws your way. Not being happy is a trick you play on yourself to squeee a bit more intensity out of life. This session, we'll be doing the trick to undo that trick and restore your happiness program to factory settings.
6 Magic Your Global Influence Right Up
Feeling powerless in the face of a world gone to buggery is a trick you play on yourself. As a full-blown manifestation of the Tao itself, you do have the power to benignly alter the flow to everyone's benefit. You do have the power to communicate with all the world. This session we'll be undoing the self-imposed trick that prevented yiou seeing this hitherto, to leave you fully empowered to make your mark in the process of history unfolding.

Run on the spot and count your footsteps, coupling each set of left and right foot-fall and counting it as one. Count 81 steps. As you run, breathe in and out through nose and mouth together, inserting a slight pause halfway through each inhalation and half-way through each exhalation, thus splitting the breath into four distinct stages, each one in time with a new foot-fall.
You’ve got to be strong, keep on keeping on and have faith in yourself now.
You could choose the alternative and loose yourself in self-pity, self-doubt and self-punishment if you’d find that enjoyable but it wouldn’t benefit you as much or help speed you along the path to your perfect happiness as quickly.
So without further ado, exhale sharply three times and expel the very essence of negativity from your person.
In between which, inhale deeply three times and draw into you the very essence of optimism and trust that all good things are coming to you.
Then stop and remind yourself that your perfect happiness does not depend on external conditions, no matter how many good things are coming to you but depends entirely on being willing to celebrate your existence exactly as it is just now, this very moment and the next and the next and so on.
Perfect happiness is the natural state and will be evident whenever you stop doing harm to yourself by indulging in self-pity, self-doubt, self-punishment or self-limiting, stress-producing moves of any kind.
It’s as simple as that. stop doing yourself down in a thousand different insidious ways and allow the natural state of perfect happiness to be yours.
It’s your birthright.
You don’t have to earn it.
You don’t have to work for it.
You merely have to stop working against it.
The more frequently you allow the natural state of perfect happiness to be your default mode, the more life responds by producing external conditions that will best facilitate perfect happiness for you.
Hence, be strong – strong enough to relinquish negativity – keep on keeping on – stay in the game and have absolute faith in your birthright.
May you feel supremely gifted this weekend.
It’s easy talking about being loving. Actually being it can be fairly tricky in the midst of what appears to be a highly competitive environment. The following comprises a short meditation-visualisation exercise, which if practiced with concentrated intent, will produce a run of wondrous occurrences in your life.
There’s much talk of manifesting these days, as more and more people are drawn to the notion of working your life through magic rather than brute force and of all the manifesting systems, nothing comes close, in my opinion, to the ancient Taoist model, or wu wei, as they called it, meaning roughly, the art of effortless manifesting.
The system depends entirely on the premise that having made your intention clear to the source of all existence, Tao Of You, which you access within your own body, specifically via the centre of your brain, or cavity of original spirit, the Tao then sends what you want through the people you know or are about to get to know, over the course of time and will produce all the requisite conditions to facilitate it happening without you having to make any effort, other than continuing to fulfil your professional, social and personal obligations to the best of your ability at all times as usual.
Hence it stands to reason, that if you can generate a loving energy and infuse the collective ambience with it, thus making it feel more appealing for the emissaries of the Tao (other people) to be in your immediate orbit, it will expedite the process of manifesting what you want.
In other words, being loving makes you loveable, which draws others to you, along with whatever potential opportunities they have to offer you.
Being loveable and, by extension, loving, starts with being willing to transcend judgemental mode and choosing to see past what you perceive as the personality distortions of the other, to see past what you perceive to be their shortcomings and even to see past whatever wrongs you perceive them to have done you, to the pure essence within them.
Having done so, compassion naturally arises, meaning you are able to put yourself in their shoes, feel their suffering and wish healing and wellness for them in all respects.
Once compassion arises, it’s simply down to intending your innate human warmth to exude from your chest and envelop whomever you find in your orbit.
Radiate love and the universe will love you back by bringing you everything you want in the optimal form to produce your perfect happiness and healthy growth.
A specific method for engendering this state of grace is explained in today’s Members' Wisdom Drop for which you'll need to be, or become a member and it's worth it.
May you feel such love and so loved today and tonight, you think your heart might burst.
As resources dwindle, competition levels naturally increase. That’s obvious.
It translates itself into all spheres of activity as an a priori thrust in the sub-current of human interaction.
The temptation is to increase your own competitiveness to match it.
However the Taoist approach is to instead operate from a different model altogether, eschewing competitiveness for creativity.
Coming from the creative stance, as opposed to the competitive, you begin by assuming you create your own reality and can create it to include you having everything you need in all aspects of your life, regardless of the competitiveness of others. The creative stance implies accepting the abundance model, as opposed to the scarcity model, according to which you manifest what you want from source – the Tao Of You – and the Tao delivers it to you through the people you’re dealing with or will be dealing with.
According to the abundance model, the more of it you source from source, the more source will generate for everyone, hence precluding the need to envy others’ good fortune and encouraging an attitude of wishing all others well for their good fortune. The more you wish others well, the more wellness you generate in your own life, wellness that will affect all aspects of your world, from the spiritual to the financial.
Hence rather than lose yourself in the stress of competing, transcend that mode altogether by adopting the creative stance and devote energy you’d have otherwise wasted on competing, to creating the reality you really want instead via such tools as visualisation and affirmative thought, a viable short routine of which is explained in today’s Members' Wisdom Drop, for which you'll need to be or become a member, and it's worth it.
Meanwhile, may you create a day and night for yourself, replete with such splendour in all respects, it quite takes your breath away.
