Creating a new level of abundance in your life all begins with adopting an abundance frame of mind, wherein you eschew all erroneous beliefs in scarcity, which in plainer language means that, based on the premise you create reality according to the story you tell yourself about it, by foregoing the belief in there being only a limited supply of abundance and instead adopting the belief that abundance is an unlimited force,

Ease off on yourself a moment, stop driving yourself mad about what you want and how or whether you’re going to be able to get it, or if you do get it, whether you’ll still want it and all the rest of that self-punishing enterprise, ease off on your body: stop holding your breath, stop holding onto your muscles and let the whole complex you’ve grown accustomed to thinking of as you sink into itself and relax completely. At the same time, mentally lengthen your spine to keep you upright, imagining someone suspending the top of your head by use of an invisible thread attached to your crown.
Let your thoughts drift and allow a picture to form itself in your imagination of you a short way into the future, enjoying yourself so much you can hardly contain it. see yourself in this state because you’ve miraculously managed to create all the requisite external conditions to facilitate such joy: you’ve somehow jumped over all current problems and are now totally sorted in every respect. You don’t need to know how or why this has happened. All you need to know is it has happened. Don’t rush it. Allow yourself to indulge it for as long as it takes. Enjoy the feeling as if it’s already a fact. Give thanks to the Tao Of You for making it be so as if it has already been made so and in your own time, return to the world of the everyday.
Then smile, clap your hands and carry on as you were.
For detailed explanation of how to employ this technique with optimum effect in respect of creating a new level of abundance in your life, see the current Members' Wisdom Drop, for which you’ll need to be or become a member and it’s worth it.
Meanwhile, repeat the above procedure at least three times each day today, tomorrow and right through the weekend ahead and miracles will start occurring in your life.
May you be inundated with them now.
Inducing specific parts of your body to relax and let go of needlessly gripping on, in order to assuage the gnawing existential hunger pains within and thus cause your mind, shortly followed by the rest of you, to relax and be at peace, is in essence down to giving a clear command to the muscles and soft tissue in specific key physical regions.
If you pay attention lightly to the conversation going on with yourself in the front of your brain there, you’ll probably notice the majority of it is taken up by, ‘I want this, I want that, I want this, I want that, I want, I want, I want,’ and most of the rest in discussion about the viability of getting it and either motivating yourself to get it or beating yourself up for not getting it.
And if you look slightly deeper, somewhere in the region of your chest and upper abdomen, you’ll also probably notice this wanting arises from wanting to assuage a more or less gnawing hunger pain – not for food as such but for love, warmth, comfort, peace and safety, which your mind is accustomed to believing it will achieve by your acquiring the various objects of your desire.
Hence you are hooked on seeking solace in externals, which inevitably let you down as all forms change over time, nothing lasts, hence everything external is ultimately destined to disappoint, thus perpetuating the habit of wanting, which in turn perpetuates the hunger pain.
Short-circuit this pattern and instantly attain to the state of love, warmth, comfort, peace and safety your soul craves by focusing in on the hunger pain instead of on externals. As you focus, breathe slowly and relax as deeply as possible throughout your chest and upper abdomen until the pain subsides, which it surely will within moments and all at once you’ll notice you are in the desired state.
Holding onto it requires dedication, discipline, patience, mindfulness and willingness to tune into yourself with regularity as above.
Methods for achieving instantaneous relaxation and release from pain are explained in today’s Members' Wisdom Drop, for which you’ll need to be or become a member and it’s worth it.
May you feel so loved, warmed, comforted, peaceful and safe today and tonight, all you actually want is to stop your face aching from smiling so much.
What’s so special about a Tuesday, you may ask but when you consider the alternative, No-day, it makes you appreciate how miraculous it is having a day to enjoy yourself on the planet. What’s so enjoyable about being on the planet, you may well ask but when you consider not being on the planet it makes you appreciate how miraculous it is you found this spot to hang out in this vast and endless universe in the first place. You might have manifested yourself somewhere way over the other side of the cosmos and never have organised yourself a broadband connection.
So here you are and in spite of any misgivings you might be holding onto about life, it’s a beautiful thing. Being willing to drop pride and say thankyou even if you can’t prove there’s anyone there to hear you – thankyou for me being here – is one of the most failsafe ways to instantly lift your spirits. It puts you immediately into a state of grace, whence you are easily able to envisage any improvements you fancy making to your reality and then simply by seeing the picture clearly enough and holding onto it with gentle tenacity, find it manifesting before your very eyes without your so much as having to lift a finger or two.
I go into this in more depth in today’s Members' Wisdom Drop, to access which you’ll need to be or become a member and it’s worth it.
Meanwhile, have a top Tuesday and be bowled over by a run of serendipity that transforms you entire life for the better.
The first time I saw two young guys with ponytails doing Tai Chi in the park in the early 70s I was transfixed. Sure I recognised it from a past life I wanted to learn it with a burning yearning. Almost forty years on from my first lesson I’m still transfixed and I'm honoured to continue to share the benefits of Tai Chi with everyone open and willing to learn.
So today, if you’re willing and open – try this four minute TAI CHI FREE LESSON
It’s from my Tai Chi Short Form Training and I’ll have a couple more mini-lessons for you this week. It’ll just give you a taster….
Because Tai Chi is quite simply one of the best gifts you can give your body and your mind. Learn the moves and put them together in the short form and you’ll have a daily practice that, once you’ve grasped it, will never take you more than six minutes to complete, but will bring a myriad of benefits.
The biggest of those benefits for me is deep relaxation – Tai Chi relaxes your muscles and organs and de-clutters your mind. The health benefits are acknowledged even by Western doctors – in fact more GPs are prescribing Tai Chi especially if you’re stressed or have issues with flexibility or balance.
The gentle flowing meditation is a movement massage for your five vital organs. Tai Chi improves your cardiovascular, respiratory and lymphatic functions. It makes your joints more supple, your muscles more resilient, increasing your flexibility, agility and balance.
Obviously the benefits increase the more you make it part of your daily life – but I’d love you just to give it a go – so

Though this a long-weekend special, what I’m about to say won’t take very long or even necessarily be that special. In fact it will hopefully be rather succinct and ordinary, going on the less-is-more, minimalism-is-optimisationism premise and is in fact a shout-out to ordinariness as a fundamental key to enlightenment. The quest for extraordinariness is a masked urge to escape death by elevating your person above the mundane rules that govern physical existence. By seeking the ordinary at every moment: feeling ordinary, being ordinary, you’re paradoxically able to instantaneously perceive the intrinsic extraordinariness of being alive. All at once the world that was hitherto humdrum to your senses becomes an arena of wonder, wonder you can never feel when absorbed in the bogus attempt to be extraordinary. For the Tao, the unseen generative force informing all of this, everything is perfectly in order throughout the universe. Everything is ordinary. Be like the Tao and you can’t really go wrong.
In ordinariness, whatever happens or doesn’t happen is ordinary and hence no longer cause for concern. Focus on your breathing. Make it soft, sweet, slow and low-down in your belly. Let it be central to your moment-by-moment experience and all the abundant blessings of the universe will be added in measures only limited by your own imagination.
A powerful method for attaining to the hallowed state of ordinariness is explained in today's Members' Wisdom Drop, for accessing which you’ll need to be or become a member and it’s worth it.
Meanwhile, may you unravel the preceding passage with ease and enjoy a day, night and long weekend ahead all the way till Tuesday, without limits to your profound enjoyment of being you.
