This is day two of a four day programme of techniques adapted from the ancient, magical Taoist art of wu wei (effortless manifesting).
Archives for July 2013
The point of setting off on the process of manifesting what you want using the Taoist visualisation techniques comprising the ancient art of wu wei (effortless manifesting), is paradoxically not the attainment of your chosen goals. It is to enter into partnership with your Tao and be privy to the miracle of witnessing it operate throughout your life and affairs. The process itself is the goal, in other words. The situations, conditions and events you materialise over the course of time as a result are a mere bonus, providing moments of accentuated awe at the dexterity and elegance with which the Tao operates.
Let your goal be to be privy to that and all the rest will follow. Let your goal be to manifest specific things and you’ll block the flow. However you still have to set specific things up as targets to reach, simply to give your path some direction.
In other words, if it’s a new house you’re after, for instance, simply let that desire and the image of it constitute a target to be reached, a point in time and space to head for but let your goal, your motivation be to be privy to the wondrous motion of the Tao in your life and affairs as it casues that house to materialise in real time for you.
Find the Tao and all else – all the details comprising your perfect unfolding - will be added of themselves.
That’s wu wei in a nutshell.
This is day two of a four day program of wu wei techniques for manifesting a quantum shift in all aspects of your life, currently going on in the Members' Wisdom Drops. You’ll need to be a member to partake and it’s worth it - get membership details here.
And at this Sunday's 'Magic Your Money' satsang we'll be drumming up the spirit of abundance for one and all, but whilst I've every faith we'll manage to trigger a greater inbound flow for everyone present, the outcome itself is, in a way, merely a fortunate byproduct. The real magic, the real reward, is gaining a visceral awareness of the Presence behind the scenes, the force shunting the magic. Developing a wholesome relationship with the Presence (Tao) is after all the real point of all spiritual or metaphysical practice. Come, it'll be magic.
Meanwhile, may you have a day and night so rich in awareness of the Tao you all but fall off your chair.
Everyone gets afraid at some time or other.
Your mind creates dramas to give the fear context.
These dramas are convincing.
The mind is a master illusionist.
You’re free to continue being compelled by them as long as you find the experience of doing so satisfying.
When you want to stop and be at peace instead, simply remind yourself, ‘I have options,’ every time the fearful thoughts surge to a momentary crescendo.
The antidote is to breathe and relax.
With the breathing, it’s the out-breath that releases the tension and fear. Concentrate on that. The in-breath will occur of itself.
Pull the muscles of your belly back towards your spine to expel the air from your lungs and then allow them to relax, causing the belly to swell as the breath rushes back in.
Soften all muscle groups in your body with a simple command from your mind: say, ‘muscles, soften!’
Notice the fear. Ask yourself, ‘could I let go of wanting to change this?’
Answer in the affirmative.
Then ask yourself, ‘would I let go of wanting to change this?’
Again answer in the affirmative.
You’ll notice the fear, along with the fearful-thought drama has now dissipated.
Repeat this every time it reappears.
Learning to establish a fairly perpetual state of peace like this is prerequisite for manifesting what you want in life via the ancient Taoist system of wu wei, effortless manifesting, a potent program of techniques for which, will be explained over the next four days in the Members Wisdom Drops, starting today. You’ll have to be a member to partake and it’s worth it.
Meantime, may you have a day and night so peaceful, you occasionally wonder if you're dreaming – and of course, you are.
I’ve been running a four-day process of affirmative thinking in the Members' Wisdom Drops, intended to instigate a stream of miracles or quantum events to radically transform your reality for the better. It started last Tuesday and today is the final day. Each day one particular affirmative thought is repeated in a variety of specific ways. Today’s thought is the catalyst that sets the others off.
I’ve used this process in my own life for many years at certain crucial junctures and have recommended it to others to use likewise, to superb effect.
If you missed days one, two and three, simply begin the process at day one today and so on – it’s not time-sensitive or related to the seasons.
Check out the last three Wisdom Drops for the rationale behind affirmative thought.
You’ll need to be a member to take part in this and I strongly recommend it - find out how here.
Meanwhile, without further ado, I wish you a most merry Monday in which you are amazed at how elegantly the Tao performs for you and vice versa.
The mind needs time, patience and application to be trained into a new way of perceiving reality. Once the shift has occurred this is invariably matched by a transformation of circumstances and conditions in real time.
Today is day three of a powerful four day mind-training process going on in the Members' Wisdom Drops (see past two Members' Wisdom Drops as well as past two Wisdom Drops for the full picture), so that’s my focus today: the art of disciplining yourself to partake of activities that promote your healthy growth rather than being lazy about it and allowing your internal monkey to take control of your mind, thus distracting you from being the fully magnificent entity you are.
I’d tell you more but the process speaks for itself.
You’ll have to be a member to take part and I strongly recommend it - find out how here. If you missed days one and two, simply begin day one today, do day two tomorrow, day three the day after and by Monday when day four comes around you’ll be fully up to date.
I'm at Quest Festival today for a workshop at 12 noon, then on the main stage at The Secret Garden Party at 1.30pm this Saturday, should you be there and of the bent to chant Om with a few thousand, and if you're not going to be there I'll be toning for you too so attune your third ear.
Meantime, may you have a day and night and weekend ahead resplendent with splendour both internally and externally.
